Cheating Dealer
Save your friend from imminent death of his own demise in an unfair poker game. He definitely can't do it himself.
Check out my twitter, I post there about gamedev sometimes
About: In this noir poker game, you play as a dealer who cheats to save his friend. The game was originally created in 48 hours for JMTK jam. Later, we added Hard Mode and a lot of other improvements

Really good game! The sound effects were good and the only complaint I have is the bet doesn't increase as you get more money
Played the easy mode, as I am not so familiar with this game. But I got quickly into it. Just take a short break to give you the great feedback your game deserves. I am commenting here, as you ask - but will leave a rating as well.
sound effects (not music) - good! the card shuffle and coin toss sounds fit very well. you created them yourself? the music is also a great choice - fits perfectly.
animations: also good. the transitions are lightning fast - as they should be. most transitions are too slow, but not yours. good job with that!
page presentation (how much were you interested from game cover, page, screenshots, etc): the game page itself could need some work. it's one of my passions to create good game pages for our Jam games, so i think i know one or two things about it (even created a collection, can you access it? https://itch.io/c/2003597/game-page-inspiration). try to make it big and inviting. the screenshots are definetely raising interest, and so does the logo.
And now - next poker round! :-D
thanks for an extended review! I used free sound fx with some filters / pitching. Mostly wanted to check that they aren't annoying, cause I had suspicions about them haha
*Went to check pages in your collection*
It’s simple but very atmospheric! And, I would say, addictive. They should never let me play poker…
hahahaha luckily my game works with virtual dollars
Great game!
